A Life Saver!

I purchased this pack after hearing a colleague at an IB training rave about Themantic and how it has really breathed new life into their IB psych class. This being my first year teaching IB Psych, this support pack has been invaluable to my planning and prep. My students love the activities and having a theme for each topic makes it easier for my students to wrap their heads around challenging topics. I highly recommend this!

Excellent resource!

I used this on my first year of teaching IB. I found it easy to understand. Students loved the activities and looked forward to psych class. When the school closed and my students relocated, one of them asked to borrow the book to study for his IB exam. He said he understood the book more than other resources he had. Everything you need to teach and make your life easier!

Last year was my first year teaching IB Psychology and even though I went to training and had support from the previous IB teacher, I was lost. I was overwhelmed at how to teach an IB Psychology SL course in one year. (It still is, but not as daunting) Criminology allows my students an excellent introduction to the IB pathway and Psychology so that they can be successful. My students love the academic language and accessibility that Travis has put into the workbook and textbook. The packets allow me put time into developing relationships and meaning to our classroom instead of constantly planning. I can unequivocally recommend the packets and textbook to anyone who is new or looking to move to a more holistic IB approach. Thank you to Travis and your great team!

Highly recommend!

This is a fantastic resource! Following the unit plan, students are stepped through the concepts in the Biological Approach (and others) to form a strong understanding of how the concepts link together. The progress through the unit allows students to build their knowledge without becoming overwhelmed. The consistent review activities are incredibly beneficial. My students (all girls) LOVED this unit. This was my first time using the themantic method and I found that my students were more engaged and managed to build a stronger conceptual understanding than previous years. I also felt that it was less work on the teacher. Thanks so much! Game changer! Life saver!
